Respected citizen of the world,
Protagora said many centuries ago:
"Man is the yardstick that everything is measured by."
Events change us, and we will continually have to
re-evaluate our morals to bend and wrap them
into fitting the circumstances.
If anything at all needs to be changed,
probably injustice is what comes closest....
Dont let the darkness take over the future of humankind.
Some things never change...
unless you change them!!!
Youth Human Rights Movement (YHRM) seeks to build a broad coalition of
citizensÒ groups and movements to work in solidarity to achieve
high level of consciousness and action for world peace.
Thats why we call you and your ideas for peace and justice
to join us in this endless action.
The objective of this task is to promote
a multilevel approach to peace issues to International/Global relations,
which has been lacking thus far.
If you or your organization would like to conribute to this action
we urge you to write your view and your analyses addressing global
and/or regional aspects of peace...
To endorse this call for world peace and justice,
please e-mail abstract of papers ,
including your name, e-mail, the name
and address of the institution/organization
with which you are affiliated at:
yhrm-int@hrworld.ru
with title: "Object - call for peace" in the subject line.
Please forward this announcement to your networks, groups,
colleagues or to anyone who might be interested,
so we can collect as many endorsements as possible!
The aim of the call is to continue the strong task in bulidind world peace
by building connections between activists, organisations and groups
who are doing good things for the society and culture.
This call is to make connections which will spark projects
between people and nasty lines known as borders.
In this age of insecurity, how about some minutes for peace and stability!
It is up to us how it will take shape.
Finally, we hope that from the pain and sorrow of all violent events,
hope will rise for the establishment of a more peaceful world.
with respect,
Youth Human Rights Movement

Marco Scerri (Malta)
I was born in Toronto (Canada) in 1985 and I am a Maltese citizen aswell.
I started my design studies at the age of 15, under the tuition of my
father. The decision to start a career in Graphic Design was mainly
influenced by the Graphic Design history of my family. My grandfather was
one of the first Graphic Designers in Malta. So goes for my father who is an
art director.
I started out by designing fictitious Music CD covers for my own fulfilment.
This lead me to a period of reading and researching of Graphic Design
literature. My initial work experience eventually kicked off in a printing
press, where I learned the basics of offset lithography, the pre-press
process and letterpress. Currently I'm an apprentice with Mangion &
Lightfoot Ltd which happens to be one of the most distinguished Graphic
Design studios in Malta. I am currently reading into a (BTEC) Higher
National Certificate in Graphic Design. My dream is to use graphic design as
a strong social medium rather than a consumerist medium.
